A celebration of Nottingham's shared cultures through dance music and sound systems. Know Your Roots brought together five DJs and artists, each playing music rooted in their own heritage, creating a night that was as much about identity and community as it was about the dancefloor.
Held at The Model, Nottingham in April 2026 and supported by New Art Exchange, the event was the third in a trilogy of grassroots events produced with M.U.S.A Collective, following poetry slam Slam Against The Norm and live music night Sounding Off.
