Nottin Industry CIC / The Creator Base

I launched Nottin Industry CIC to support the development of early-career creatives in 2022. In 2022, I hosted a range of networking events and keynote talks from leading creative industry professionals based in the East Midlands. Following on from this I developed support workshops for artists focussing on social media and branding. Many early-career creatives were not able to cover the costs of profile and headshots and leaned towards poorly produced content and photos for their music releases. We tackled this with our content creation workshops, helping young artists develop their content with the tools they already have at their disposal.

In 2023, we were awarded a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund to develop a year-long wellbeing programme called The Creator Base, which provided monthly workshops focused on mental health and maintaining wellbeing, which we delivered between 2023 to 2024.
