An open call poetry slam held at Corner Cafe in Hyson Green, built around the theme of rebellion and challenging social norms. Ten poets were selected from an open application process to compete on the night, with winner Elias Chambers taking home a £100 prize.
Supported by New Art Exchange, Slam Against The Norm was the first in a trilogy of grassroots events produced with M.U.S.A Collective, setting the tone for a series that championed Nottingham's underground creative voices.
